4. What is the difference between POP3 and IMAP?
When you access an e-mail account using POP3 configuration, the e-mails are downloaded to the PC you are using. You can access your POP3 account from different PC's but you will never see the e-mails looked at from a previous PC. A POP3 e-mail account will free up its own e-mail disk space every time it is accessed.
When you access an e-mail account using IMAP configuration, the e-mails remain on our servers which means you can view the same e-mails from another PC. As the e-mails remain on our servers, make sure you apply good housekeeping to your account so you don't run out of e-mail disk space.
